Therapists ONLY want to talk about OCD when they find out I have OCD, even if it’s not at all what I’m there to talk about. Do they just see it as the problem “easiest” to fix? (it’s obviously not easy, just trying to understand why this happens)

anytime I try to go to therapy, they ask me if I’ve ever had obsessive or compulsive thoughts and I say yes, I have mild (right now) OCD. I do not want therapy for that, I have more important issues right now. I’m there for very hard family struggles, social struggles, etc. unrelated to OCD. Yes, maybe later we can talk about it but that is ALL they end up talking about even when asked not to. Multiple therapists this has happened. I am going to just start lying and saying no.
