Congrats! It’s already a big achievement to enroll yourself. I’m sure everything will work out. Make sure you take advantage of those first generation benefits! Universities are usually willing to help. Don’t be afraid to reach out, they’ll lead you in the right direction.

Theres nothing inadequate about wanting to take control of the opportunities in life! Good on you for being the first in your family, that’s a really big step! It’s also a really good skill to be able to reach out for help from the people around you. Good use of your resources! That being said I understand why you would feel that way, it can be scary doing new things. But you’ve got this I promise!
