Yeah. Dragon finally makes a move and he joins the slave piece agenda, Blackbeard name being Davy D instead of Rocks D or Marshall D, Shakky getting captured, Don Marlon Killed, Gil Bastar, Sommers and Gunko appear, Garling seeing his children and the reveal of more prizes

It’s a joke about how everyone fighting on behalf of the Celestial Dragons (the marines, and for some fucking reason next Garp + Roger) are all fighting Rocks, when he’s the only one doing the right thing

My opinion of Roger in particular has gone in the toilet. His entire motivation here was for a chance at hitting,

I think you need to be skim reading to miss the fact that dragon is very obviously disillusioned with the Navy atp and GV is likely his turning point. Like it’s not hard to understand that Dragon joined bc 1. He wanted to help people, 2. Bc garp prolly encouraged him to. But now that he sees he’s CLEARLY not there for that, he’s gonna change

Honestly my opinion has remained the same, Roger is a pirate after all, and most pirates are pretty rowdy especially for a woman like Shakky. As for the whole “defending Celestials” thing. I think it’s pretty obviously implied that Garp/Roger didn’t mean to directly defend CDs as much as them taking out Rocks just so happened to be in the CDs benefit and so the in universe story was spun that way. Neither would willingly protect celestials.

Also the way you worded this makes it seem like you forgot this is a fucking flashback. Like, dragon isn’t “making a move” these moves got made decades ago. Dragon has yet to really do something in the current story. And to say he’s joining on the side of the WG even in this flashback is just being daft

I mean Roger better have a very very good reason to team up with the marines just to fight rocks. I literally can’t imagine why. If he’s there just for shakky, I really hope he doesn’t fight rocks just bc of that

the one piece community is always believing in world government propaganda 24/7, first its “Rocks is def evil, Roger and Garp for life” now its “wow Roger and Garp loves protecting slaves, w Rocks!”. Listen, Oda is not gonna fuck over Garp and Roger like this, aint no way. There must be a reason why all of the participants of God Valley must hate talking about it or hate associating with people who were in the incident. Almost in every arc, Oda tries to convey that we shouldnt fall forpropaganda
