There are people who are "doing it the right way" and have been waiting in line for DECADES. It's not hard to understand why people live in the us illegally.

We could let more legal immigrants in if we weren’t already overflowing with illegal immigrants. Also, consider this. If you enter illegally, the first thing you did in America was commit a crime so you get what you want the easy and selfish way. If you enter legally, you have the responsible and right thing, and have shown dedication to the nation’s wellbeing. Which of those do you want in your country?

And the majority of them are on expired visas. Immigrants aren’t an issue.
