I had pet rats once! They’re highly intelligent and very fastidious about grooming. Need lots of enrichment but overall aren’t extremely difficult to care for

Depends on if you feel capable of caring for pet rats. They aren’t a super long term commitment as they don’t live very long but you need to be sure you are in a position where you can take care of them.
