I agree, my point is that it’s important to have a military in general (for several reasons) The military is one of many things that needs to be fixed in the country

In advance I’m a leftist not a liberal, and while I voted neutral, your (#2s) position does resonate with me. That said your rhetoric in conjunction with the posts phrasing kinda simplifies making moral judgments on those who join the military. I think that #3 makes a good point in that some have no choice but enlistment for finical reasons and I think it’s unfair to pass judgment on all of those people ubiquitously. Not everyone is educated on the historical conduct of the U.S. military. 1/

Additionally those who are in poor financial condition are even more likely to not be educated on our militaries conduct and join thinking they are doing something good or protecting something sacred, I would place less moral judgment on them then on U.S. based weapons contractors and designers who understand exactly what they are making, who and how it will be used on. You bring up very good points about military conduct but let’s be honest most militaries operate this way just look at Sudan 2/
