Missouri is 10000% better than Illinois. Illinois has Chicago. That’s it. Nothing else. The rest of the state is nothing. And overtaxed. Missouri has danger, wilderness, outdoorsy stuff, 2 okay cities (though kc is objectively popping off rn) and Branson, MO. Ohio is just a better version of Indiana. Michigan is nice but gets too cold. Minnesota is same issue. Eastern MO and along i-44 has the right balance, down to springfield.
