I’ve gotten into a habit of downvoting anything sexual (this one isn’t bad imo honestly), but like there’s some real sexual stuff in some areas that aren’t marked as that, like here and even my school one

We're literally all adults... just mute or block the accs if its something you really dont wanna see, thats like going on twitter and complaining abt that, its fully within the platform moderation and a known topic of the platform lol no one is making you interact with it

And being an adult isn’t really that relevant, I personally got on Yikyak to be able to see stuff from my school, I’m almost 21 and I do not care about any sex related things here, this post is perfectly fine since it’s not overly sexual, but I’ve seen some gross stuff being asked and talked about

It is relevant bc it means theres no reason ppl shouldnt be allowed to post that stuff wherever on here lol its totally fine to not wanna see it or think its gross (not trying to beef with you trust, I agree some of ts is gnarly 🙏) Im just saying its just like any other platform, mute and scroll if you dont like it, theres no reason to interact or say anything

i mean it’s an anonymous app, and the moderation allows for gross shit just like other apps lmao. not saying it’s okay, but people are gonna be weird no matter what platform you’re on. tiktok, insta, twitter- whatever. the only difference is that this one doesn’t really have an algorithm, and you can see all of the gross posts in chronological order.
