My house was built in the 50’s and hasn’t been renovated since (it’s falling apart though, not gonna lie-)

Dude- my house’s shower has been broken for 20 years… we don’t even have a dish washer. I think renovations aren’t avoidable in older houses

True but mine was renovated BADLY. The tried to make it an open floor plan and just fucked it up. Also we had to redo the entire bathroom from the 70s and our other bathroom doesn’t even have a door 😭

Also my room has a hole straight to outside cause of the most recent owners and sometimes birds fly into my room

My elderly father owns the house and refuses to do anything about it. I’m genuinely waiting for him to die and then I’ll just sell the house to get knocked down and rebuilt
