In some states the minimum wage is like $2 for employees the state considers "tipped" so I can understand it. Other states have the same minimum wage for everyone though (including mine), so I do think it's ridiculous here

Having a tip request required for every transaction is not the same as having tip workers

We need to print less money, deflate prices, and not deflate the wages

it’s only ridiculous when they ask for it at a kiosk/drive thru. otherwise tip your server
