A lot of people just do this because it costs a lot more money to have alcohol at a wedding, not actually because they don’t want people drinking. Mr Flask is coming with me but only if I clear it with the bride and groom first

I’m a hard stance on if it’s a dry wedding and conveyed as that, respect the wishes of the couple. You can go a few hrs w/o a drink. If it’s called a “dry wedding” there’s usually a good reason.
