The pronunciation depends on how the person wants their name pronounced. I’ve known Andreas who pronounce their name the first way and others who pronounce it the second way. I’ve noticed the first way tends to be more associated with people with more Hispanic influence since that’s how it’s pronounced in those cultures, and the second way is a more European/American way to say it. It depends on how the person whose name it is wants it pronounced.
Okay fair I guess I overthought it a bit lol. Personally, my immediate assumption is the first one since I live in Texas so most people I’ve met with that name pronounce it the more Hispanic way, but generally I wait to say it until I’ve heard how they prefer it to be pronounced cause I get anxiety about pronouncing people’s names wrong.
