Yeah obviously. Fewer people, fewer harassments. But the rate would probably stay around the same. The vast majority of assaults of any kind in immigrant communities are not reported to police. Some are identified incidentally by case workers, activists, and the occasional anthropologist, but, otherwise unknown. Thus, they don’t affect official statistics.
Probably not. Not everything is because of immigrants. Some travel a long and treacherous distance to achieve more freedoms while some not all waste it the second they get here for some pussy. But more than likely no. I would continue but I believe yall don’t want my opinions it’s opposite of yours.
People voting “No” just to affirm their identity politics is actually disgusting. You lessen the flow of illegal immigration and human/sex trafficking—yes, it’s real and yes, it’s happening—you will see sex crime numbers come down. By how much? That’s unclear, but you would see numbers come down, literally speaking. Ik people don’t like to admit when they’re wrong, but be so ffr here yall. You can’t “close” a border, but you CAN control the flow of immigration with proper border security—
—just like every other country in the world. I legit don’t understand how some people are so into their identity politics that they’re willing to deny that the crimes against humanity and drug influx from across the border are real issues. People will downvote this too bc I’m being realistic 😭
I dont know what you want 17, like yes, less people means less sexual harassment. But that doesn’t mean it’s gonna go away. This question is LOADED to blame immigrants for sexual assault and THAT is the problem. They’re asking a loaded question to fulfill their own “identity politics.” I don’t know what you expect to accomplish with this comment
While this question wasn’t about trafficking, it is definitely an important issue to consider as well. However, people being trafficked are already not traveling through official immigration channels, are a much smaller percentage of the population than people who experience harassment or SA, and are much less likely to have their stories uncovered. It doesn’t make sense to argue that the simple number of sex related crimes would be affected by a statistically significant amount.
