I think society will move past those divisions some day so if there's a cycle of reincarnation then you'll probably get there eventually. If there's a designated afterlife, most religions say that race and gender don't exist there. So your odds are pretty good.

I wasn’t really thinking about it that way. Animals still commit acts of violence all the time, but nobody cares about it because it the law of nature and something we can’t change. That doesn’t make it right though because things shouldn’t be killing each other. I mean, people do the same thing to survive, but fortunately, we don’t live in a hunter-gatherer society anymore so we have the privilege of being multiple degrees of separation from the killing unless you are a farmer.

You think that I’m trying to argue a solution, which I’m not. I’m just saying that the laws of nature involve a lot of suffering and things that are not right and we can’t control that. I don’t know if you are religious, but Christians believe that the current laws of nature are a result of sin taking over the world because before sin, all animals were provided abundance in the Garden of Eden.

Isn't that more of an argument against stereotypes rather than racial categories? I would agree that in a perfect world neither would need to exist (being "colorblind"). But how could you bring up racial prejudice without making it an us vs them scenario when that's what it's born out of?
