I'm super avoidant and my dream relationship is a long distance one where we see each other every so often but the majority of people are not like this so I don't think I could fulfill most people's expectations or needs. Everytime a guy would text me my heart would kinda sink because I wanted to just run away even if I really liked them and they were an amazing person.

I’m avoidant and LOVE being single, I think of relationships as cages for my freedom which is probably why I would not be the right fit for anybody rn because I’m genuinely not interested in ruining my peace and happiness for a lifetime of compromising

No - I don’t think I’m a good girlfriend a lot of the time because I’m captivated by my own dislikeness of myself, and it ultimately interferes with my relationship at the end of the day. I set expectations for others that even I can’t uphold myself. Love by boyfriend but idk how he deals with me sometimes. I’m working on it🤍

im actually a really good partner when im in relationships! but i really enjoy my alone time. when im in relationships, every single time, my recharge time is either cut in half, i dont get it at all, or its not respected. codependency is too normalized. ive been yelled at for wanting to end 72 HOURR PHONE CALLS, wake up to paragraphs bc i fell asleep by accident, etc etc

Never been in a relationship so the safest answer would be no

I mean I have been with me SO for years. And I know I have emotional hurt them. And sometime annoy them. Not there for them when they need me. But they have done the same to me. I feel guilty tho I’m not better. But no one is perfect. We don’t abuse eachother no just mean my SO complains a lot and I’m so tired of hearing it. And I’m sure I do things they are tired of too

at this point in my life, I’m just super busy. I don’t know if I would be able to give my partner the time/attention they need and deserve. And I think I would also stress myself out about that, which would cause issues for me and my wellbeing.

basically 1) im too busy with college & my job 2) no one meets my standards or seems to understand my needs. 3) still working on myself
