The unemployment rate for graduate age workers has always been about 8-9%. It’s not any different now than it has been for the last 100 years. The problem is a lack of experience and trust

At least for computer engineers, I think it has to do with the sheer amount you’re expected to be able to do right out of college despite colleges not really preparing you enough for it

It’s certainly not the middle one because then we would likely see falling prices and high unemployment. Imo the real problem with the job market is that the process of applying for a job has gotten less costly as the hiring process has moved online and because of that every job posting can have hundreds of people as opposed to a couple few making it much more competitive

There is no problem. This is normal. You can’t just throw out a bunch of buzzwords for people to pick from and it expect it to be accurate

There were literally no buzzwords in my comment. Everything I said was logically true. If it’s easier to apply for a job than the job market will be more competitive

But the job market is quantifiable and what the data tells us is that there is no problem right now. This is how it’s always been
