I feel bad for the individuals affected in any war. That does not mean I care about Gaza. It will not ever affect me no matter which side wins.

It absolutely affects you, surveillance, crowd control, and weaponry technology and tactics are tested on Palestinians and exported to other countries around the world, and the IDF does joint training with police forced from a variety of countries, including the United States. That is part of why Israel has the value it does to the US government, it’s a Petri dish for ways to suppress dissent

I would far prefer if a genocide wasn’t being carried out in the name of my religion, but I’ve seen what’s happening, I’ve seen what Israel’s leaders are saying about it, and I’ve read the UN legal definition of genocide, this is a genocide.
