I am anti *generative* ai. Other types of ai run video games and work on curing cancer. Generative ai is killing the planet, invading human art spaces with slop, and quite literally already scientifically showing effects of ruining peoples brains, social receptors, attention spans, and critical thought

I think I'm equally concerned about the concept tbh. I think it has the potential to get out of our hands and possibly not need us anymore. And we're literally already seeing its potential to rot our brains
