i’ve been in many situations where I needed to reach out to the police for help and they were more accusatory and rude than helpful. I see most cops as over grown high school bullies!

Honestly, no. Even as a black girl. I’d say the only thing I’m scared of is being pulled over and getting a ticket or something. Idk why

As a POC with parents whom are cops(both of my parents). I never been scared of cops, it’s moreso the individual not the cop. Cops tend to be typically more on the serious side but being serious isn’t synonymous with being dangerous.

I have a cop on each side of my family. The one on Mom’s side is funny (Ex. he has a checklist of bridges to pee off of while on night duty) and chill. The one on my dad’s side might be corrupt. 😐

I’ve always had a soft heart to cops since they helped me out during familial domestic disputes growing up. I love watching videos of cops saving kids from ā€œhouses of horrorsā€

I’m a white girl so like top tier white privileged (obviously unfortunate but it’s just the hard truth) and I’m still scared of cops exactly bc of what #4 said. They’ll literally pull shit out of their ass to get you for something

Bruh. What? Go about your business. Nobody wants you making their job harder than it is and no random cop is going to be like ā€œomg she’s cooking dinner! It must be meth! Arrested!!ā€

You’re afraid of public safety bc you’ve been conditioned into thinking they’re all bad people bc all you do is listen to morons who pull shit out of their ass on live television for money When you can think for yourself, lmk

Police officers are genuine people. Had one ask if I was ok and file a report for me after my car accident a few years ago, another took care of my sister after hers bc a guy ran a stop sign, and another pulled over to check on me after I lost my serpentine belt on the hwy 2 years ago But by all means, go on. Tell me how they’re all bad when you’ve never had a single experience to tell of

i’ve had real life experiences with police officers and other first responders that made me feel unprotected when their job was to help in the situation and I had done all the legal things beforehand and provided ample information. I have LIVED through these EXPERIENCES. I’m guessing you have talked to a few cops maybe been pulled over, but you are the one listening to the shit they are shoving down our throats. I am able to view my experience & others into seeing that we NEED POLICE REORM

I just saw a video of cops arresting a man walking down the street because he said he didn’t want to talk to them. He didn’t match a description, he wasn’t even accused of a crime.

Black women are typically safe under law enforcement it’s usually men whom aren’t safe. Women in general have it easy. Same with gay men.
