I don’t think it’s as valuable if you purposely seek out friends because of their race/gender and it’s better to just let the right people come into your life, it’s perfectly fine to only have close friends of the same race/gender as long as you aren’t actively racist or sexist yk

Ig but the post was simply asking “is it valuable to have diverse friends”, I still want to hear the thought process behind saying ‘no’ to that lol. Maybe my pov is skewed bc I live in a place where you don’t need to “seek” diversity in the friends you make bc it’s everywhere.
