Anyone who leaves is a little fucking bitch that doesn’t deserve love. Disabled or not, that’s YOUR fucking kid. Deadbeat dads deserve nothing in life. Also, are you REALLY going to abandon the woman you got pregnant too? That kid’s just as much your fault and your responsibility as it is yours

Realistically? I’m going to leave. Whether it be now or in a few years, at some point it’ll tank our relationship. I am not at a point in my life where I’m responsible or patient enough to care for a severely disabled child.

If it was mine, then that means she doesn't respect my opinion, which isn't exactly enticing me to stay. Yeah having a kid is your body your choice and all that, but if it's our family then it's our choice. Starting a family isn't a solo decision.

So you’re gonna force the responsibility entirely onto someone else? You’re a massively selfish piece of shit

Why should I be forced to care for a child who isn’t born yet and I don’t want? If she doesn’t want it but I do, she can abort it and that’s her right. It’s her body and life. But if I don’t want it and she does, I’m on the hook? What’s fair about that?

If they already know the child is going to be severally disabled and a burden on itself and everyone around it, and the mother refuses to abort it, thats on the mom tbh

What don’t you understand about the fact that YOU got her pregnant in this scenario? If she poked holes in the condom them maybe I’d agree but you’re at just as much fault cuz it literally couldn’t have happened without you

*I* got her pregnant, as if the sex wasn’t consensual. Idk if you skipped basic biology or not but in case you did, it literally couldn’t have happened without her either. Takes two to tango, and we’re both just as much on the hook about a pregnancy. So we both have just as much of a right to opt-out if we want to.

If there’s an option to abort how is it fair for the guy to be at the mercy of what the woman decides? If it’s equal responsibility then it should also be equal choice. A man should be able to say ‘I don’t want to be a part of this’ just as much as a woman should be able to say ‘I don’t want to be part of this’
