what would you do if you were about to marry the absolute love of your life when one day you found out that you were biological siblings (same sperm donor, adopted, etc.) assume there’s no chance of you ever having kids and there are no family ties

Breakup, that would gross me out way too much. I would feel sick even looking at him after learning that honestly

If they were the love of my life id break up but still be really close with them and encourage them to find a loved one they weren't related to ☠️

Full speed ahead baby, they're still the love of my life and if we're not having kids (and I wouldn't want kids anyway) then there's no ethical concerns

Why? This is a legitimate question. As I see it, the two primary ethical concerns with incest are (a) if you grew up together with an age difference there's the possibility of grooming, and (b) it's immoral to have incestuous children because they could suffer birth defects and stuff. This scenario avoids both of those— you legitimately fell in love while having no idea you were related, and you're not going to have kids. So whats the problem?

At that point there is no problem beyond a purely conceptual "ew I think it's icky," which is not an *ethical* problem it's just a subjective opinion
