I’m in between. I want kids but only under specific circumstances, and if my partner can’t match that then it’s a dealbreaker for me. I want communal living and my kids to be raised by my friends too, and only if we have the resources for that. I’m not about that traditional family unit lifestyle 👍

raising kids itself is smth I'd be fine w but having kids? I wouldn't make it through pregnancy and would likely end up w PPD/psychosis. I also think surrogacy is insanely unethical so the only way I would consider kids is through adoption under specific circumstances

However my friends will have kids too and they’ll raise them with me, so if my partner didn’t want kids at all then I’d be totally fine with that as long as they were okay with me spending my time with my friends kids as a parent

There’s an argument to be made that what you want is a much more traditional family structure than the 1950s nuclear family
