my grandma forgot my name a couple weeks ago and she just referred to me as “my pretty girl”. on thanksgiving she remembered my name AND called me her pretty girl simultaneously. celebrate little moments like that. she’s my favorite person in the world and it’s been hard to witness.

My grandmother had a really rapid case and passed in only abt 8 months from start of symptoms, it really is so incredibly difficult, sending love and light to you and your family ❤️🩹

My nana had early onset Alzheimer’s. It’s an absolutely devastating disease. I’m so sorry you’re going through this🫂

My grandfather who helped raise me after my dad died has been struggling with dementia. It’s difficult for everyone and has progressed very quickly.
