I prefer not dealing with DST because it’s nothing more than a headache. Grew up without it, don’t need it now.

nope, what we’re in now is standard time, daylight savings time ended (so time zones will be like EST (eastern standard time) instead of EDT (eastern daylight time) like it is in the summer)
