When you swish your mouth with water and then drink a little bit of water after brushing your teeth. Do you have a cup that you fill with water or do you cup your hands under the running water and fill them up like you’re drinking from an oasis?

No no no! You're not supposed to rinse after brushing because toothpaste has fluoride to protect your teeth, and you'd be rising it off

And let the toothpaste just sit in your mouth? Uh, no thanks. If I can still taste and smell the toothpaste after rinsing 30 mins later, I think the fluoride is still there. There’s fluoride in tap water, too.

Quit whining. I would rather smell minty toothpaste on your breath for <30mins rather than a nasty rotten cavity. Water objectively rinses the concentrated fluoride off your teeth, so you think wrong. And the fluoride in tap water is obviously not as sufficient or targeted as toothpaste is.
