I used to think this, like why would they bring kids into that situation? But then I realized the more nuanced take is- *we should be working to make sure far fewer people are in poverty so having kids isn’t a privilege afforded only to the wealthy*

why would anyone disagree with this? if you are poor, how do you expect to pay for food, clothes, shelter, bills, school? it’s extremely selfish to bring a child into that situation

If we made a law saying that people in poverty can’t have kids because childhood poverty is bad, according to liberals, the end result would that way more white people would have kids and minorities can’t have kids anymore
