To a certain extent. I opened up too much to my ex and she used every bit of that to hurt me the best she could. So I’m never doing that again. So I’ll keep the deepest stuff to myself and share what I think is necessary

I told her my grandmother had died and her exact words were “yeah, I saw that on facebook” with absolutely no sign of sympathy. When I said my dad had died she said “Well you were upset with him anyway, right? So it’s ok” (for reference, I had not spoken to my dad in about 6 months when he died) and when I said yes I was mad but ofc it’s not ok, it’s still my father, she got upset with me for not telling her that I cared about my father’s wellbeing.
