Theyre looking at specifically the population on yik yak with vision problems the greater population doesnt matter unless they want to compare the two (vision aid vs non vision aid). They put a qualifier WITHIN their demographic (vision aid only -> contact vs lens) so yes theyre absolutely getting what they want to know out of this

Yeah but if you want conditional data you’d want to find % of republicans with visual aid and % of democrats with visual aids and then you could look at interesting information between contacts and glasses

Its not conditional, their demographic isnt yik yak as a whole their demographic is yik yak users who need vision aids on the onlypolls community is what I was trying to explain, not trying to like bigbrain you or anything just /gen (also like its polls for fun and not this serious to be looking at multi level statistical analysis anyways)
