maybe im generalizing 💀 but why does it feel like a lot of men just dont give a fuck about these issues? why are so many pro ai compared to women? why do some not care about surveillance tech? no not all.. but the ppl who ARE pro ai are usually men😭😭

I am pro AI in terms of treating it as my assistant. I can let it help me with my work but eventually I need to supervise and oversee the results to make sure it is proper

Pro analytical AI and other useful stuff like that. Anti generative AI.

It’s a fantastic technology, and has made science so much faster, but data centers should not be built around living spaces, and videos should not be generated with AI for stupid reasons like ads. I’m pro AI, and AI is being abused right now.

“just text” is a pretty fuzzy line, imo. having a conversation with it, having it write an essay for you, and using it to code are all just text most things that you can do with it in a pure text context are still either useless or something you could do yourself in a little bit more time
