Was able to go abroad while being in a 3+ year relationship and those 3 1/2 months were brutal we missed each other so much I don’t think I could’ve done any longer 😭😭😭

Typically the idea of a long distance relationship is that you eventually move closer to each other

You can be long distance for short periods of time, like if one person is in college/grad school in a different state, or if someone’s job moves them somewhere else temporarily, etc
