Not guilty by insanity strictly so it doesnt get thrown out, chances are if there is a jury/trial theres enough proof that he did it, jury decisions can be overruled if judge or one side thinks the jury choice isnt representative

Not true, a judge cannot “throw out” a case because they suspect a jury’s findings weren’t of a factual basis. It’s why jury nullification exists (though is rarely ((reportedly)) exercised)

The verdict absolutely can get thrown out, theres a process for it its not just hmm I dont agree but there are checks and balances within a court the same way there is in government

I mean, there’s an appeals system, but the right to appeal is guaranteed to the defendant in a case—not the prosecution. If a judge were to throw out a verdict on the basis, that would require a new trial in order to find a new verdict. Such a scenario would be a textbook definition of double jeopardy, which is unconstitutional according to the 5th Amendment.
