Is it more embarrassing to be single for a long time (while actively trying to date) if you’re bisexual (have a larger dating pool) than if you’re just straight or just gay?

You dont inherently have a larger pool...? As a bi person I dont catch feelings any more or less often than my peers 🫩

I don’t think it’s embarrassing to be in that situation

Same amount of embarrassment which is zero. No one should be embarrassed about that. People should mind their own business instead

I js meant like if u never have experienced being straight how can u be sure the degree to which u can’t catch feelings is the same as non bi people

To which I replied bi people dont exist in a vacuum. I have plenty of straight, lesbian, trans, gay, bi, etc, friends and we share experiences as friends do. In my personal experience Id even go as far to say as the straight people I know get around much more than any queer people I know

Yeah I understand however I do think that the personal anecdotes of your experience and observations of your friends experiences or their sharing of that information cannot reliably be used to determine the rates at which bisexual individuals are attracted to others per capita in comparison to straight and homosexual individuals. I meant no disrespect rather to simply clarify how you would know

This is a really overly pedantic argument to make. Obviously everyone has different experiences but my main point was that you cant generalize bi people as just "having a bigger pool" or in any other way, bc thats not how it inherently works. MY experience obviously isnt representative of every bi person, but that isnt something I should have to clarify, it goes without saying, it was to make a more general point

But wouldn’t bi people have a larger selection to choose from logically regardless of if they act on that or if it’s embarrasing? If I only choose to date say women over 5’10 and then later decide to date all women my dating pool logically has risen correct? Wouldn’t this apply to bisexuality? Again no disrespect
