I think it’s because when a black person call a white person a “cracker” and when the white person responds by saying the n word, somehow the white person automatically a racist even tho the black person also used a offensive slur

In todays world both are equally as wrong one is just reacted to worse, it is equally as wrong for a person of color to racially attack a white person as it is for a white person to racially attack a person of color, in the end all should be loved🙃

I’m sorry but as a white person they are not equally worse. White people continue to benefit from systemic racism. We do not live in a post-racial world. Things pointed to as “reverse racism” are normally just reactions to normal racism.

Being rude to a person is being rude to a person, all evil is evil. And the only thing that could be considered reverse racism is the act of not being racist at all. Your context of reverse racism is just racism partaken by a person of color, racism is racism no matter what color or lack there-of that person is.

Yeah like cracker is a made up slur with no weight, it’s like calling someone a florgle or other made up word. That’s why it doesn’t bother anyone. The n word, on the other hand, has significant weight due to its history

I do want to add on that cracker actually comes from “whip cracker” like, an overseer or plantation owner who would physically abuse enslaved black people. So it’s not that it doesn’t have a history or that it doesn’t carry even a negative connotation, but it’s not degrading in the same way, it’s a long-held reaction to horrific extremes of racism.
