I just feel unethical about bringing yet another human into this broken world where they have to follow a bunch of rules instead of just existing and loving life like people should. I even feel bad about adopting pets because I feel they’d have a better life if they were never domesticated. We’d be better if we hadn’t domesticated ourselves
It’s bc our culture is moving away from community and towards individualism. And I hate it. We as humans were not meant to survive as individuals, we were meant to rely on and support each other, that’s how we’d thrive. But everyone is so focused on themselves it’s so hard to find community and friends now
We couldddd rehabilitate them to their natural environments and see if they evolve to be stronger with natural breeding via survival of the fittest (sorry sounds crazy ik but hear me out) rather than just breeding to make them cute, fluffy and docile. It may cause some breeds to die off as our own “sister species” did throughout history like homo erectus, but it allows for them to thrive a lot more independently as animals especially since they don’t really get the benefits of living indoors
