1st option, I don’t see how anyone could just the 2nd. I mean, if we choose the first we don’t always have to be fat. U can lose the weight

If you’re fat then you are t in perfect health. Being in perfect health also takes into account BMI.

I'm struggling rn. I was diagnosed with RED-S and the cure is to eat in a calorie surplus for at least 6 months but that'll land me overweight...

Just lift weights and then you’ll be overweight but also strong AF then you’ll be a beast once you lose it

Red-s means you arent eating enough for the exercise youre doing. The symptom is lack of energy not the cause. Youre undereating so you shouldnt gain a significant amount of weight, you should stop losing it if you do it right.

I mean what I said? Its called relative energy deficiency but if you actually look at it, it just means youre burning more calories than you eat and the s is just a specification that the burning of calories is primarily from a sport. If burn more than eat then weight go down, to fix eat more then weight stay still, if eat too much trying to fix then weight go up, pretty basic concepts

I had this diagnosed with my anorexia a couple years ago. A proper recovery plan will not make you gain any weight that you dont need.

Yeah I was diagnosed several months ago and I thought I could recover at home, I thought it was just CICO so I wouldn't eat like all day (I had no appetite) then I'd chug like 3000 calories worth of protein shakes at night... I gained 15 lbs for nothing. I know it's ridiculous to say but I am really deep in this ED and an unnecessary 15 lbs makes me suicidal...

I'm only 5'1 so 15 lbs is extremely noticeable and hard to lose... AND I don't want to lose my period again so idk if I'll ever be able to lose it again healthily... This stupid ED is the worst thing that's ever happened to me. I went from a perfectly normal weight to underweight and dying and now I'm going to be fat forever.

Yup, just what I was thinking. Ya can’t be in perfect health if you’re overweight.
