imo it’s not a timeframe thing but about the specific jewlery. if it was just a pretty necklace vs like, the ex’s initial or an anniversary gift that’s a big difference

It depends on the emotional significance. If you attach the jewelry to them emotionally, best not to wear it around during next relationship. If it’s not that deep and you just like sparkly things and aren’t even sure who really gave it to you, it’s fine
