An employer will be happier you have a degree in five years instead of not having one at all. Life happens, stress, jobs, kids, accidents.

Some people are in college for like 8-12. I’m on my fifth year rn because I transferred and lost a year. Who gives a fuck😍 more time for me to figure my shit out and watch all my friends enter jobs they dgaf about, or rave about how lit life is without school

who tf realistically gonna say no? it’s your choice buddy 😭 i mean if it takes you 5 years, youre the one paying more. a degree is a degree, but obviously getting it done in 4 years is more ideal

Absolutely. I dropped out. But i also now make really good money too. Life takes you places. Listen to this: on average, a 4 year degree takes American students 6 years to complete. Dont worry if you dont get it in time. And if you decide it’s not your thing, have a good contingency plan. I stayed with education and training as an electrician apprentice, got about 3 years left, I’ll top out my salary in my 4 year training cycle, and earn 100k WITHOUT overtime. I’ll give my girl the world.

Just keep finding a way forward. Thats the most objective demand of the world today. So long as you continue to pursue meaningful and constructive things, who’s gonna fault you? It’s your life, only you can live it.

did you opt for workforce instead of trade school bc it was cheaper? or bc you wanted to actually gain experience as you learn?
