they were flying from separate places to another place. her flight also ended up getting cancelled bc delay. he ended up driving to the other place but when he reached she said she was flying home

he did that’s why she went home instead of trying to find a workaround bc she thought he cancelled it on purpose and was abandoning her. but he continued to drive to the other place bc he missed the flight they were traveling to the same place

yeah he did say that and she was telling him that she is gonna go home. ig he was hoping she will change her mind 🤷‍♂️
