Colleges do not count lol if that was the case then the city where university of Alabama is located could be on this list and so could the city of where the University of Connecticut is.

How do college sports not count? It’s still sports. Also even tho Alabama has a ton of nattys, they don’t have any professional sports there. I don’t think a city (or even an entire state) without a single professional sports team deserves to be on a top 5 for best sports

Idk man. Pittsburgh is a pretty iconic sports city known for its championship culture. I don’t think anyone can argue that Pittsburgh is top 5 for best football and hockey cities in the country

The Steelers are not currently one of the best teams or cultures in the NFL, and Pitt has basically always been irrelevant.

Because if you include college,
Women and men’s UConn have 18 considering that’s more than most sports cities have combined in some places.
