
Postpartum psychosis is definitely in large part the reason she killed the kids. However, that’s not what the insanity defense is under law anywhere except NH. The MA test follows the MPC. She had to have not comprehended the wrongfulness or not been able to control her actions. I don’t think that test is met. Guilty. (M)
She did not have psychosis unless she had the most stand out non clinically presenting case in the whole world. How does she hear it for the exact amount of time it happened but never before and never since? She had enough werewithal to kill each child methodically, buy lemonade in advance to take the drugs, then when found did not tell anyone she had killed her children or try to save them in any way despite said psychosis supposedly ending according to her and her civil case …
