His communication style is divisive, he doesn’t even try to negotiate or be favorable to everyone, he just says whatever and doesn’t care about the repercussions. That makes conservatives who just wanted to fix our economy and get America thriving again look like incompetent assholes even though most of us would have preferred a different person and approach to Trump.

Still “support” him I suppose but not happy with some of his decisions so far. He was never the best candidate.

I don’t really count, but I was raised in a conservative household and supported him the first time he ran. I was probably 14-15 when he was elected. After his first presidency I had completely stopped supporting him and had completely detached from many of the conservative values my family had. Honestly the reason I stopped supporting him however is that I simply paid attention to the news and what he did as president.

The thing is that many conservative don’t actually stay politically informed. They get much of their information from talk shows and social media and refuse to fact check any of it. Their version of what is happening is entirely different from reality. The biggest cure to Trump worship is just to follow reliable and more non biased sources such as AP News and use multiple sources.

An example of this is how I am a public health student and now there is a massive lack of funding right now. The CDC is letting people go, the GOP have cut the Peace Corps funding and have tried to get rid of it in the past. Overall it’s more difficult than it was in the past to get funding for health related programs and research. My conservative mother brought up the CDC fired people and when she was informed about money cuts she responds “well idk why there would be a lack of funding”.

But if you try and explain this to her and how the GOP has cut funding she will deadass have a temper tantrum and refuse to look it up. It’s unfortunately not just her it’s the vast majorly of self proclaimed conservatives I’ve interacted with. Growing up with these kinds of people makes you realize how absurd the behavior is or you end up just like them.

do you support him or are you just republican and he was the only option?

Yea, that’s probably a better way to put it. I’m mostly right and just felt he was the better choice between the 2 even though he’s really not a great option. Just a classless big mouth who doesn’t have enough people around him questioning his choice of words/actions.

It’s pretty annoying tbh. He’ll say something and it’s like “man cmon like why did you have to go and say that, it literally doesn’t help you in any way to say that” or he’ll do something that just makes no sense like the whole Greenland nonsense or “Gulf of America” bs it’s like bro wtf are you doing. The Oval Office used to have class and integrity but he gives off more of a whiney spoiled brat vibe. He’s not all bad but occasionally he makes it hard to stand by my vote.

thats so hilarious to me. my mom and i bought shot glasses with “gulf of america” on it to remember this nonsense when the next president changes it right back😭. he is genuinely ridiculous. idk if you’ve looked into it but the epstein files makes it 10x harder to support him as well.

lol I love that (the shot glasses not the Epstein thing). And no, I’m not well caught up on my Epstein list lore, but I’m sure it’s damning for anyone who was near him, which unfortunately was way too many powerful people. He really was trying to have dirt on everyone he possibly could. I think I saw there were some like super well known paleontologists on there even like wtf he just invited anyone to the island.

I mean, I’m sure not EVERYONE who went to the island took part in the heinous crimes that happened there but like if you were a reoccurring name on that flight list and didn’t stop going or speak out against him then their definitely something shady going on with you. Like as soon as you find out what’s really going on you gotta be some kind of fucked up to go back or not say something about it.

yeah! i’d just like to say that trump was mentioned 5k times (before the doj removed those files.) i urge you to look into it. this whole country is ran by child predators and they should all be thrown in jail. and pam bondi said “but the dow!” on a lighter note, epstein liked lady gaga lmao

5 THOUSAND TIMES!?! What the actual FUCK dude 😭. There’s just no defending the man from that, that’s like trying to block a cannon with a wet paper towel. We just gotta nuke Washington at this point and wipe the slate clean ✌️. Also lady Gaga is awesome so I’m not surprised. I think I saw somewhere that he played Fortnite too which is just so wrong because that’s primarily a kids game.

Hey I would really urge you to read the files and reports on the files because there is so much misinformation being spread about them. However as a former Trump supporter I can tell you he definitely took part in the islands more shady and illegal activists. The reports from women and young girls in the files about Trump are terrifying and there is definitely a reason he is trying to fight the release of them. He is talked about probably more than any other public figure in the files
