Exactly. I'd be perfectly fine never getting in a car again, except that there's literally no other way no get around the area where I live. We have roads with no sidewalks or bike lanes, no bus system, no trains

intriguing point, i guess id say it would still close fine assuming u mean it just automatically shuts after being opened.

id say regarding driving, i would just do the same thing as the top comment where you just hope when you drive it closes. also, you would likely need some kind of assistant or partner, which could be a service dog of some sort that can close the door for you.

also, the acceleration thing is hard to say. i might consider that an action to close a door. to make it harder, id say you cant do a direct action to close a door. like telling someone to close it, moving a couch in front of it, or even accelerating to close. id say the only way to close doors is if you have a service animal that is trained to close all doors you open, or a person who follows you around and just knows to close them, but you cant direct them to close the immediate door.

That’s fair. What would you say abt installing those hinges that automatically close doors in your house? Obv wouldn’t work in car or public, but still

I mean it just automatically shuts after being opened, meaning I wouldn’t be the one closing it. Gravity would be pulling it shut rather than my own hand pulling it closed
