Lincoln’s actions much more align with the current Democratic Party. He wasn’t for small government, and literally fought a war against states rights on slavery. He was pro development and technology, and also unlike modern republicans, pro union. Very dumb that republicans try to claim him as supporting their ideals on government

I want to bring Teddy back so he can throw hands with modern republicans. Don’t get me wrong he had some major flaws (interventionism in Latin America being the biggest imo) but goddamn would be despise these anti-conservation corporate shills

Exactly, the parties switched platforms. He was republican by name but democrat by belief
