Compared to all animals in terms of numbers of individuals? Or in terms of species vs species?

But what about all species of birds, fish, reptiles, crustaceans, rodents, and other smaller mammals?

Get down on all fours and then compare yourself to other animals. You only think you’re big because you walk around on two legs

Rodents count, as do birds, fish, reptiles, crabs count too! the only thing that does NOT count is technically living plants, colony (if made up of animals, must be considered by size of individual), and whatever fungi have going on. and insects because there is just straight up so many bugs

Therefore I vote medium since there are also a lot of larger animals as there are smaller animals

There are but there are far far fewer. We can’t comprehend the vast amount of insects and fish alone, let alone anything smaller or even microscopic

On fours or twos, if I go outside any given day I’ll run into at most a hands worth of animal species bigger than me but an abundance of animal species smaller than me.

That’s because you live in civilization. Big untamed animals aren’t allowed in populated areas

If I wasn’t in civilization, it’d be the same. Every environmental chain relies on a great many small creatures that feed and support the larger, requiring those smaller creatures be much more numerous and varied than the large.

I genuinely don’t know? I think like # of species rather than population of species.
