Ya uh if I spend four hours a day in class that would mean I spend 8 hours a day studying on top of that and that’s uhhhhh 12 hours not eating, drinking, being social, enjoying life, or sleeping. No.

Like. Maybe some people, but they’re the exception, not the rule. And I’ve had professors say this as if it’s a rule

i genuinely had a teacher tell me on syllabus day (we have one 3 hour class a week) that we should study for this class 6 hours a week. “you can study every day but the day you go to class, its perfect!” NO!!! there is NO way i am studying on the weekend
