Could be a childhood trauma, like how some ppl are afraid of puppers, due to a bite, and I feel sorry for them

Could be a sensory thing for them, I refuse to drink soda because I just cannot stand the sensation of a fizzy drink in my mouth. Maybe something about the texture of stickers bothers them. I don't think it's weird

I’m assuming it’s a sensory thing. I can’t touch anything metallic without freezing up until I can clean whatever area was touched. I never pick up change, I don’t touch keys or doorknobs without a glove or my shirt, etc. I’ll lift my knee halfway up my chest to press the stoplight buttons before touching them with exposed skin.

sensory sensitivity is very common, although difficult for those that dont have sensory sensitivities to understand. Doesn't mean it's not normal, just different than you
