A 'noob' is a gaming term for a "newbie," often used condescendingly for someone in a video game who doesn't know what they're doing. I made this poll to see how pervasive gaming terms may be in internet and pop culture. :)

Right, but noob (originally as "n00b") is a derivative of newbie and implies something different than the more literal "newb"
