I don’t drink every week but I don’t want a partner I can NEVER share a glass of wine with. I’m not really interested in drinking alone. Sometimes it’s a vibe to have a candlelit dinner with bae while we sip wine and relax. Plus ppl who tend not to drink at all usually do so because they’ve had issues with it in the past & alcoholism is a lifetime thing so I’m not interested in dating someone who could relapse. One alcoholic relative is more than enough.

Its only a turn off when they get controlling about your drinking and smoking

Turn off isn’t the right word, I would feel judged and probably wouldn’t mesh well with some one who never drinks or smokes. I drink like once a month usually at get together and same with smoking so it’s not like I’m doing it all the time, but I feel like I’d want to enjoy these things with my partner

i’d prefer someone who would drink with me, but it’s not a turn off per se unless they’re gonna sit there and judge me for it

Is a partner who doesn’t have a dependency on stupid shit that is genuinely bad for your body a turn off? There fixed your title.

It would be kinda sucky to never be able to enjoy a glass of wine over a fancy dinner with them but it’d be far from a dealbreaker.

You don’t have to have a dependency to just be able to enjoy it from time to time bestie

I drink like once a month lol. I smoke more but not more than like twice a week. Moderate usage isn’t absurd yall just sound like YOU have a problem

*people who tend not to drink are sometimes just stoners. Ik a lot of people like that, but I don’t smoke that much anymore so I still want someone who wants to drink occasionally like once a month or so.

I'm not a drinker because i'm paranoid about cancer. It really runs in my family and I feel that i've already harmed my body enough in other ways so i'd just rather not drink. Ur take is valid though
