The 2x2s are a cult that are incredibly secretive about their activities. They do not have an official name, but often are also referred to as “The Truth” or “The Way”. They have managed to stay mostly under the radar, but recently have started to come up more in the news. I highly recommend looking into them if you have a chance. They’ve managed to stay under the radar for so long, I’m curious as to how many people actually know about them at this point. I only know about it because of family.

Doesn’t every cult refer to their own cult as things like “The Truth”? why would we wanna look into them?

You might be right, when I look up “The Truth” I mostly get results about the two by twos, but that doesn’t mean other cults aren’t calling themselves that. This cult in particular has managed to stay out of the mainstream cult conversations, and have managed to keep their abuse a secret up until recently. I’m hoping that now that they have been exposed, more people will talk about it. That being said, I just did the poll because I was curious about how well known it has become.

Had me stressing for a second bc i was raised in a pretty small Christian religious group (not a cult tho) called "the Neocatechumenal Way" but people usually just call it "the Way" for short and they also have missions called 2x2s. So i was like oh dear what happened Totally different thing tho so all good

I’ve never heard of the Neocatechumenal Way! I can see why you were stressed reading this post lol. But yeah they are definitely completely different things, just some similar names.
